Online real-money cricket betting is prohibited in Rajasthan under the federal Act in force from 1 May 2026. The older state picture: Rajasthan follows the Public Gambling Act 1867. A new bill for virtual sports was proposed but not fully implemented.

Is betting legal in Jaipur?
Online cricket betting for money is not legal in Jaipur. The 2025 Act applies nationwide from 1 May 2026 and prohibits offering online money games, advertising them, and handling payments for them. The 1867 Act still describes offline gambling houses, not a licence to stake online.
