Fact-Checking Policy
Every article on CricketBetGuides passes a second editor before publication. Our fact-checking process is:
- Sourcing: every non-trivial claim must trace to a primary source — a statute, court judgment, official governing-body statement or a first-party test we ran.
- Reviewer read: an editor other than the author checks the article for factual claims, quotes and numbers.
- Legal review: any article touching gambling law is read by our legal editor before publication.
- Update cadence: reviews are re-tested at least twice a year and around IPL. Legal pages are reviewed after any state legislative session.
Corrections policy
If you find a factual error, email editorial@cricketbetguides.com. Confirmed errors are corrected within 48 hours and the article is annotated with the correction date and what was changed. We do not silently rewrite history.
