Our mission

Millions of Indian cricket fans search for betting-related information every year. Most of what they find is written by operators or affiliates whose incentive is to convert the reader into a deposit. That's a bad way to learn about anything, and it's especially bad in a space with real financial, legal and personal risk.

We publish the honest information we wish had existed when we started reading about this space: how the platforms actually work, what the risks actually are, and what the law actually says.

Who we are for

Primary audience: adult readers in India who want plain-language education on cricket betting mechanics, the 2025 Act, and historical platform records. We write in English and several Indian languages. We do not run a bookmaker and we do not serve as an agent.

Our research methodology

Platform tests on this site are a historical record from before 1 May 2026. They are not a shopping guide and they are not an invitation to open an account. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 now prohibits offering, advertising and handling payments for online money games nationwide, including cricket betting for a stake. 1. Hands-on testing — platforms we reviewed were tested with real deposits and withdrawals across at least three tiers, over a minimum 45-day window, before the Act took force.
2. Complaint review — we monitor independent forums and complaint threads to cross-check our own experience.
3. Legal sourcing — state-law claims are backed to a specific statute or reported judgment.
4. Fact-checking — every article passes a second editor before publication.
5. Regular updates — legal explainers are dated to the Act; historical reviews are labelled as such rather than re-run as a ranking exercise.
